Pros

These have a good streamlined look and the lashes are super thin light snd strong. For little children consider buying soes with scotch. My 9 year old does everything in these and they hold up like a champ.

Merrell never disappoints, and our entire family gets outfitted with their boots and shoes. As with all hiking boots/shoes, tall socks (hiking socks) are recommended.

Cons

Both companies have gone through redesigns of their #1 seller. For now i am done buying from amazon at least articles of clothing and footwear. They are not waterproof at all.

The material is very rigid and hard. Laces are not compatible, too loose and doesn't stay on. Zero arch support and poor stitching quality around the tongue edges.
