Pros

The arch support is good. Will use for hiking and gardening chores. Easy to put on for quick dog walk/potty run, store run, gardening, etc.

The soles are great, vikram. My heel is narrow but need a wider toe box and these are perfect!

The only thing i don't like is the elastic band that connects the top of the tongue to the main body of the shoe. I have to reiterate here how wonderful this merrell mountaineering boot is.

Cons

Shoe is small and tight, especially around the opening. It cuts into my foot where the leather meets the elastic and is unbearable to wear. Same size, same color but so uncomfortable.

My original pair from about 4 yrs ago made in bangladesh are a much better quality, more substantial in every way, than the newest pair purchased in january of this year. Every time i wear these shoes my socks come out with a weird brown discoloration... Read More
