Pros

Much cooler than my other hiking boots for hot weather. Quite comfortable and protective in rugged terrain.

Toe box is roomy enough for my custom orthotics once the insoles are removed. I have a bunion on one foot and the width is great. I wish the laces were a bit longer, but that is an easy fix.

Vacationing in all kinds of terrain. On the could trail walks i've been on, the tread is very good.

These shoes are not over-padded. They are lightweight enough to also wear them as the bulkiest pair of shoes when traveling with just carryon abroad.

Cons

None of them have a tongue with a seam inside the shoe. The toe box is way to wide in a medium width. It feels like there is something shoved underneath your heels.

These shoes are barely worth $20 if you replace the insoles. It's sweatshop trash now, and the womens insoles they use are mind boggling. Can't get past purchasing used dirty shoes. These shoes had clearly been worn multiple times.

No craziness. Very disappointing. Absolute garbage these days.

These shoes are basically a low cut of my merrell boots that i have nearly worn out.

For the money - i am very happy and would recommend.

I had been looking for a pair of these for a while, found these at a great price on amazon.

I ordered the beige/tan because it was on sale, but i still liked the shoe well enough to exchange the 8 for a 7.

5 in another color that unfortunately was not on sale.

I bought them for light trekking in yosemite for 3 days and they suited the purpose.
