The ankle support has been amazing, the traction and flexibility in the shoe is amazing, and it truly is water resistant!
I needed a waterproof shoe, slip resistant, durable, supportive, and most importantly comfortable.
Tested on a 5 mile hike, that was 60% snow, 40% mud, slush, & water.
I got these with the ankle support because i have an ankle that never fully healed, and so i twist it a lot going down hill.
Price
I got these hiking boots for a great deal at $72.
Very confortable and less expensive on amazon than in the store, i had a saving of more than $30!
Packaging/appearance
Now we are going to have a cute picture up on those mountains with our matching merrell's sitting on a rock on an overlook haha!

I tried several different hiking boots and once again found merrill to be the most comfortable.
I took them to yosemite, brand new, and hit the trails.
