Quality
I have built about 50 of these metal earth models now and have a pretty good feel for the instructions & how the work flow goes.
My only complaint, not even worth a star, is that they are at two different scales.
Other than that, these are both pretty detailed models.
Shipping
It is a little hard at first, and it did arrive late, i had bought two, and when they didn't arrive for a week, i bought two more.
Competitiveness
Likewise, if the merrimack were scaled up to the monitor's scale, it would be a little over 1/2" longer.
If the monitor was scaled down to the merrimack's scale, the model would be around 3/8" shorter.

If the monitor was scaled down to the merrimacks scale the model would be around 3834 shorter
