Pros
Used a cable or wire cutter(plier) to trim the ends. Clipping off the excess band is obviously a bit more difficult that the plastic counterparts, but sharp metal cutters do a good job. Works as advertised.
These are so much better than the plastic ties that do not last outdoors. These are great for a dog kennel or shade cloths.
Cons
They are very hard to close since the metal doesn't bend easy. Don't waste your money.

Straps worked great, locked and tightened up with pliers, two months later, they are all still in place.
These have worked out very well and i am very pleased with the quality.
The straps are stainless and locked in place with a ballbearing (last photo.
They are silent when slid into each other but once slid it’s not going to slid back any and it’s permanently locked in place until cut off.

I got a whole bag for a lot less!

Conventional plastic tie wraps become brittle and fail after a few years in outdoor southern arizona

I got these to reattach a heat shield that had fallen off my car assuming that they would have better heat resistance than regular zip ties

If you have a need for zip ties in an application where standard zip ties wont be adequate these are a good solution
