Even so, there appears to be no sacrifice in quality; it’s very well-made.

Price

The price is a little steep for a softener but i wanted something good quality that would last.

This unit was a bit more than i needed but i chose it over lower capacity options because the price was comparable.

Packaging/appearance

Works great, packaging was good, instructions are sparse, watch video on web, would recommend

After researching online and reading up about the other units available we decided on the afwfilters.

Competitiveness

The unit is a much higher quality product than those big-box units and only slightly more expensive.

Very nice instructions on how to prep the unit for install, some pvc and sharkbite adapters and it was ready to go.
