Price
50 for one bar, and that was at full price (it wasn't on sale, new items typically aren't).
I'll start with the price: do not buy it from amazon!
It is twice as expensive on here as it is in stores.
Though a little pricey, the bar is long lasting, which more than outlasts standard bar soaps.
Packaging/appearance
I didn't find it irritating at all, but like the packaging says, i would not use this on your face.
Competitiveness
I have tried other bar soaps that claim to be exfoliating.

I tried a lot of different bar soaps and i hate when i get a soap thats a glorified rock that rips my skin off as i try in vain to get more than a measley 3 bubbles in the shower

I had just about given up trying to find a bar soap that does both of these things ive had some that lather well but dry out my skin others that dont dry me out but also dont leave me feeling clean and thought id have to admit defeat and switch to a body wash but this soap delivers

I know that my alternative was to switch to a body wash and i feel like this is still way cheaper on a per shower basis and i prefer the experience of bar soap so i dont really care that this bar doesnt last as long as the chunks of granite that i mentioned above

It irritated my skin my second time lathering up my body so i had to use my loofah to finish but the irritation stopped there and it’s only cause the exfoliation can be a little to intense for 2 lathers
