Hey guys i have a 2002 gmc yukon xl i install my aftermarket radio using this product end it fits great but had to do some modifications to the front plate so they could fit in place the two plastic clamps was the right matching for my vehicle couldn’t get this at the store really thanking amazon to make this possible

I called metra to see if they would sell me just the radio brackets and they were no help at all

As you can see in the picture everything fit as it should without any modification

The radio is a tight fit but i think its the radio not the brackets

Its a cheap and decent alternative to spending 160 on the full double din dash piece

If your going to go this route be sure to have a dremel and spend plenty of time marking off cut areas on dash

Works great on my 96 k1500 but the top of the plate is quite flimsy
