White wire is where it is too short, half inch gap right above the temperature control unit. This is not the same length as the original.

Fit was perfect and the quality of the gloss black trim was identical to oem (which is also black, unlike the 2015-2017 models).
Item has a nice finish, and fits perfectly in a 2015 subaru legacy!
I thought about painting but did a vinyl wrap instead as the finish on this is super glossy and a finger print magnet.
The brackets are abs plastic but feel pretty sturdy.

Quality is ok not great but is what to expect at this price point.

The mount panelo though are so generic it mas difficult to get them lined up and at a good depth

I removed the backup unit from the stock brackets but left it attached to the mounting bracket
