Make sure you push the prongs in all the way till they snap into place. The ends are rounded to positively lock against the spring tabs on the radio chassis. Simple push in and apply outward pressure and *, you are done.

When getting out a radio installed by ford after the first ten or fifteen minutes of deciding a hangar will work and realizing that it actually does not work these little monsters can be a real life saver

I did struggle a bit getting the keys to work removing the radio because it wasnt clear from the instructions that once the keys click into place you need to pull the uends away from each other as you pull back on the radio
