Do not buy this garbage. This is the second vehicle i have had where the metra kit did not work correctly.

The plastic is sturdy and matches the rest of the truck well.
Worked great, only issue was had to use two washers to support the plastic bracket to the back side of the face
I am concerned that the bending stress and vibrations while driving will, over time, result in cracking.

This unit wasnt an exact fit for pioneer nex 1770 the bezel was just to small to go all the way around the unit

You have to bend the bracket where it connects to the truck while you tighten the screws because otherwise it wouldnt secure the audio head in place

It would have been better to have an adapter that worked in concert with the oem metallic bracket

I didnt use it for an aftermarket radio so i cant speak to the overall fit
