Quality

Nice set of features for scanning from my iphone in some ways like my fujitsu document scanner.

Otherwise the speed it great, the quality is great, and we don't have a problem with it going to sleep and not waking up.

This is a well designed printer for what i needed.

New hp laser printers came with "starter" cartridges that were only good for 1,200 pages.

Price

After less than 3 packs of paper, you had to buy $1,100 worth of cartridges for a printer that only cost $800 new.

For a laser printer that i paid $900 for, hp wanted over $1,000 for the 4 toner cartridges!

Works well good price but not the most easy reading interface

There was a problem with the printer tray; they responded quickly and sent a new tray.

Competitiveness

Duplexing, scanning or just regular printing, the brother is every bit as good as the hp for far less cost in the long run.

The brother is slightly slower than the hp it replaced, but for $1,000, i can live with that.

Consumer reports rates 14 other printers better than hp!

Not only was the l9570 cheaper than the comparable hp, it came with full sized toner and new toner was only $75 a cartridge.
