I experimented with different heats and when raising the temp up i barely had to wait for it to get to a great temp

It gets pretty hot so it will straighten really quickly but not so hot that it was damaging my hair

I like that the controls are on the outer portion of the handle where as my other iron by a different maker they were under the handle and very hard to see the temps thus risking damage

The control buttons are on the inside so no more accidentally turning it off or changing the temperature like my old one did
