It can be adjusted so it sits higher but i would have liked if it also had the option to go slightly lower too but it’s not the end of the world

The 58 to 38 adaptor is some stupidly lightweight and fragile metal which you could bend with your fingers if youre of reasonable adult strength

The base itself is just the right diameter to support a heavy mic but not take up too much desk space
