Pros

The metal badging on the grille looks nice. Composites or mdf are preferable to wood or plastic as they are less resonant.

If you long for a micro audio solution that is nearly invisible and costs about $100 all-in, this is your holy grail combination. Excellent full range sound even for multichannel stereo listening. Would also probably make a good homemade boom box.

The negative reviews here seem to fall into the category of expecting these to be something they are not. My recommendation for a budget, quality system is. Would buy again.

Nicely designed and compact. Works nicely with an smsl sa300 driver.

Cons

These speakers have a really muddy muffled sound. They sound no better than your average bluetooth speaker. There are so many better bookshelf speaker options for roughly the same price.

Return/refund processed by amazon. One of the speakers was improperly wrapped and had small scratches on the bottom of the case.

These cube style speakers are well built and deliver adequate sound for surround speakers.

At higher volume or having the treble turned up too high generates a crackling noise from each speaker.

These are small and not designed to handle anything really below 150 hz be sure to have a solution for this.

For the price and size these speakers were great!

Wanted something inexpensive for a seldom used stereo system and this totally fits the bill.

These things kick ass for less than $50.

Do not buy anything more expensive for near field sound than these tiny cubes.
