Pros

Best budget powered speaker for its size is an excellent value. Not a ton of bass but for the clarity of these it makes up for it. Placement is critical to what you'll hear.

These speakers complement the woofer perfectly. Compared to my previous setup, my new setup handles movies and shows with very similar performance.

Cons

Overall sound is very tame and recesses over analog sound. Clearly overrated hardware. It produces this hissing distorted sound like stones grinding on one another when listening to drum cymbals.

The neumi speaker doesn't even hold a baseball. If these are the new and improved crossovers i can only imagine how awful the originals were. Both are $90/pair. Placing the speaker against a wall would be pointless. Buy the polk t15 instead.

Highs are tolerable, but the mids sound like they are in a tunnel. The bass was distorted.

Distortion is very high below 200hz with greater than 5% thd. My guess is that the tweeter and woofer have different impedances.

I was a little hesitant about the quality because of the lower price but it’s definitely worth the money.

While these are nowhere near the quality of those speakers, they do exactly what i wanted them to do.

Mine came bent down a bit like it was damaged in shipping but it is still usable.

Packaging/appearance

First impressions out of the box: crystal clear sound, with maybe a little low on the bass.

Competitiveness

Being used with a fosi 30d micro amp so sound quality potential of the speaker is limited to the very modest fosi amp.

I think it's better than a cheapo logitech system for the cost i have invested.

The one that worked the best was a 19v 4.

In a quiet room it's noticible even on low settings.
