Pros & Cons
Pros
The lows are so insanely smooth, the mids and highs blend together like a mango peach smoothie. If anything, maybe they lack a little bottom end fullness, but the timbre of the sound is overall very nice.
This is probably the most feature packed and high quality budget amp you'll find, i suggest it! In-built amp is well-made and not too aggressive. It's got an attractive solid wood ported cabinet and 5 way binding posts. The only caveat is that you're ... Read More
The bass is weak out of the box, but this can be ajusted with an equilizer (i use the musicbee app on my computer and the speakers respond very well to eq) it's also thicker than expected, with the port being at the back it does require a few inches o... Read More

Cons
These is no warmth to them, they are overly bright with no mid or lows. Slightly damaged with some dodgy gluing around the woofers. Even with the speakers angled directly to you it sounds like the speakers are on the side or the cabinet.
Highlights
Quality
The sound quality that this small speaker brings out is quite remarkable.
These sound good and are easy to install.
Tried the ones from same company with 2x 3'" mids and one tweeter and they are not even close to these in sound quality, muddy and mushy.
5 mm inputs from the amped/main speaker itself; if both rca and 3.
Price
This is a great value at an extremely affordable price.
Considering the price these are great value.
Do not pay more than the official canadian micca rep price of $65.

Competitiveness
The size of these speakers is perfect for this application and the sound of this setup is infinitely better than any sub $1000 soundbar.
That's all pretty remarkable given they are in the same price range as the latest bose companion model and those come nowhere c... Read More
A comparable sony is close to $200.
You don't have to necessarily get the exact same brand of speakers but they should probably have a similar response range.
