Pros & Cons
Pros
For 4 inch speakers, these are the clearest sounding speakers i've heard. Mids and highs are simply terrific. There is clarity in each frequency range.
In-built amp is well-made and not too aggressive. Easy to install and hook up wires to since it's a passive. Only caveat is that you're going to have to makes sure it integrates well sonically with your existing speaker setup.
Cons
These is no warmth to them, they are overly bright with no mid or lows. Slightly damaged with some dodgy gluing around the woofers. Even with the speakers angled directly to you it sounds like the speakers are on the side or the cabinet.

Tried the ones from same company with 2x 3'" mids and one tweeter and they are not even close to these in sound quality, muddy and mushy.
5 mm inputs from the amped/main speaker itself; if both rca and 3.

The size of these speakers is perfect for this application and the sound of this setup is infinitely better than any sub $1000 soundbar.
A comparable sony is close to $200.
You don't have to necessarily get the exact same brand of speakers but they should probably have a similar response range.

It may not seem like a lot but that 30 hz difference between the speakers did affect the sound enough to be noticed

I have a friend who coincidentally just bought the micca mb42x bookshelf speakers for their stereo amplifier and it turns out they also have a 60 hz crossover floor and would have a better integrated sound
