The amp connects automatically to a sound card with headphones. The switch to switch between speakers and headphones is simple and satisfying. Toggle switches are small and solid.

For the price, the origain is almost unbeatable. It looks serious, feels heavy, and has a nice textured surface. The construction is sturdy and the controls all have a solid feel.



Cons

Something on the circuit board burnt out, some small smd components are black n crispy. Smells like electronic bbq. It's certainly not the speakers as this dac definitely doesn't produce the advertised 50wpc.

    Update when you use the usb dac connect to windows and turn the volume down with windows the volume does not go down
