The clickiness of the knob and gain switch is pretty addictive but i advise against doing it while plugged into your computer as it will freak your computer out and cause it to blue screen turning it off and on constantly

I also was having this weird robotic sound problem with my onboard sound and getting this micca origen has fixed it

Separate driver download is painless but i am not sold on dsd as a needed thing quite yet

I tried 32bit and it worked but it probably sets it to 24bit since the audio doesnt cut out when switching between 24bit and 32bit

Also the dac chip only supports 24bit according to specs
