There were few indications on the box about its makeup; but, after researching more we learned the is coated in stainless steel.

Some reviewers have wished that the sauce pan was larger but for just the two of us the pan is perfectly sized

The lid also has a small steam outletopening so the lid will not “bump” when steam needs to escape
