My original item had 8 acrylic top pieces instead of 4 tops and 4 bottoms and unfortunately i had waited 3 months to open it so i could not exchange it via amazon

Unfortunately because i am using loverpi poe power over ethernet hats for my pis the fans in their suggested configurations hanging under the top pieces do not fit

I also had to use a pull configuration for the fans rather than push since the fans are so thin that they were rubbing against the acrylic in the push configuration

However the biggest drawback to having an aluminum housing is the reduction in wifi signal and if you are trying to play online or update the device via wifi the speed and connection suffer greatly
