Pros
Barebone unit paired with teamgroup 8g ram and a msata ssd. That leaves me with a spare nic to do something with someday if i can think of anything that needs a dedicated nic. Gb router interface for around $300; what's not to like.
Cons
The patriot viper steel is definitely dual ranked and incompatible. There is a jumper inside that locks the unit on 100% of the time and disables the power button. Skill, patriot and corsair was not clearly labeled.

Just received the credit, response was very fast.

This is an awesome unit, works great with pfsense or opnsense.
I have it setup with pfsense, adblocker, and intrusion detection, and it's been stable and fast.
Like others have reported, after setup the unit that arrived would not post or boot with both sodimm slots populated.
