Doing this with a skateboard without skillfully popping it up in the air would typically send someone flying forward onto their face once they hit that bump

I dont know why it is different with this scooter but it rolls right over the bumps like they werent even there

They tried but quickly realized that they were a waste of time

However it took a lot of trial and error for each of them to get it and no matter how early they started none of them could ride it in a straight line for any distance until they were 6 and over 44 lbs the stated upper limit of this scooter

But as my kids reached 70 lbs the scooter really looked like it was struggling

Perhaps it is the my fault in terms of not putting the hours in training them but still i was a disappointed

Maybe the balance on our mini is off but since i cannot ride it myself to check i have no way to tell

In the end it did work out for me as it was a 1 year stepping stone to a 2 wheeled scooter and i had 3 kids to make use of it
