Numerous electron microscope images of life forms whose complexity we would otherwise be unable to appreciate or even know about.

All four of my children (3-12yo) have fought to page through this book, every time one of them pulls it out.

Price

This is an excellent book at a good price.

There is no two ways about it: this book was worth every penny i paid for it.

I don't normally spend upwards of $35/$40 for a book, but this purchase was worth it!

I appreciated the slight reduction in price because of its minor imperfections.

Packaging/appearance

My only complaint is that the cover of the book is marked up with packing marks from rough handling.

I recieved the book with some hits it did not come with any air bags to protect it

Competitiveness

Smithsonian publications are well known for their beautiful pictures although the images in this book are quite different.

There is no museum or gallery that can compare with the microscopic art of nature exhibited in this beautiful book.
