First of all please understand this item is not really for noise reduction or isolation

If the environment you are recording in is loud nothing like this will remove this noise

You either have to reduce the ambient level of noise in your recording space ideal or remove this in postproduction

It might help with some isolation like in my case but it wont help as much as fixing other issues in a dedicated recording space

The real reason to own this is echo reduction

I already reduced the echo in my room by putting up moving blankets on the walls and covering the wood floor with them but this improved echo bouncing off other things like my largerthanmost monitor
