Pros

The microsoft natural ergonomic keyboard 4000 is hands-down the best option for an ergonomic typing experience. I absolutely love this keyboard and every time i spill a glass of water on one and it quits working, i have to find another one.

The only real complaint i have here is after a (long) while, the inner half of the spacebar * can wear down. It takes a good month to adapt to hitting the space bar with enough force to always be recognized. The programmable hot keys are great for adj... Read More

Cons

Very disappointing for a microsoft product to wear out so easily. Irony is, it is not in heavy rotation/not used daily.

The drivers (software) for this keyboard are 32-bit, which means they are not compatible with 64-bit operating systems, including mac os x catalina.

The keys lack any clear coating over the pad-printed lettering. It just randomly decides to not type certain keys and characters. Better hope your logon password does not include one of the malfunctioning keys.

However, my experience of this keyboard was definitely excellent and met my ergonomic needs.

Pros:-greatly reduced or eliminated wrist and shoulder pain due to excellent ergonomics.

Lousy adhesive and bad design for those.

I absolutely love this keyboard and every time i spill a glass of water on one and it quits working, i have to find another one.

Price

I've had several of these, and keep buying them when not overpriced.

It's definitely not something i would be able to afford back when i was working barely above minimum wage.

I did get it at a good price and see now this is very expensive.

The price of these has gone through the roof.

Shipping

This was delivered quicker than i expected and it works well.

Also, it arrived ahead of schedule which is always a bonus!

The usps was unreliable in the 2nd delivery, and what should have been 2nd day was 7 days.

They had me return it and immediately shipped a replacement.

Competitiveness

I am purchasing this replacement for the same keyboard i bought new as ver 1.
