Unfortunately the updating problem cant be fixed without setting if back to its basic defaults and then reinstalling all of the programs and that is unacceptable to me at present

I think the updating problem occurred because there was a power outage during when it was updating that damaged the ability to update

The windows program should be separate from the installed software data and personal profile so that it can be deleted and reinstalled at any time without affecting your programs installed your personal settings or your personal data
