Adjustable dpi is a nice feature. A higher dpi means a faster cursor. The mouse has a good 2000 dpi laser and has programable macro software/*.

The generous size and curvature makes it easy to maintain grip during intense gaming action. It fits my hand a little like an over-sized glove. The fit isnt for everyone.

If you're a palm grip gamer, it feels just right -- when you first put your hands on it. If you claw grip, your pinky can rest there too. It is very comfortable for any right handed user, providing you are holding a mouse properly.

Cons

It just feels like you cranked the sensitivity up on an extremely choppy and cheap mouse.

Quality

I went for this one for mainly the price and the simplicity of the product.

I am very satisfied with the sidewinder x5, but no mouse is perfect for everyone.

My biggest gripe with the product is it is very light weight due to it being 100% plastic.

In most fps's, i was fine with the wireless mouse, but when it can to situations where the reaction mattered, i would lose.

Price

I'd certainly buy it again, especially now that the price is down to less than half of what i gave for mine.

I would highly recommend this due to it's price.

If it doesn't work for you, then it's only $25 down the drain.

My old one had them on the top edges off to the side.

Competitiveness

I defendly recommend to anyone looking for a gaming mouse, that is affordable and has a longlife span.

This is perfect for my mousepad-atop-my-desk but if you keep your mouse on a slide-out tray it may be less comfortable.

I was minutes from buying the razer deathadder for over $50 when i found the sidewinder x5.
