Pros

Mouse is substantial, heavy, an ergonomic hand rest type. The contour of the mouse is a bit different than our original. The mouse is pretty big so comfy in the hand with a good weight once the batteries are in.

Cons

The keyboard is very plasticy feeling and cheap quality. The condensed placement of keys makes it really easy to miss the arrow, page up, down etc keys. Being the mouse and keyboard are tied to the same usb receiver will need to look for a more reliab... Read More

Some times it works well and other times it gets really choppy. This model is not satisfactory. It is disappointing that a company as large as microsoft would not produce a replacement part, forcing the consumer to buy everything.

The combo is cheap but is somehow still not worth it. What's the deal? Additionally microsoft refuses to do anything about it.

The mouse behaves erratically, and nothing i tried has resolved it. There is a period between the time it starts to loosen and the time that it eventually falls off when it gets in the way of allowing the scrolling wheel to operate fluidly. The left-r... Read More

This keyboard has a great feel when typing and have had no issuing with the keyboard responding to as i did with my other one.

I got this as a cheap mouse/keyboard combo and i am surprised by the quality!

None of the changes are deal breakers and overall we are thrilled with the microsoft 2000!
