You have to press the mode button once or twice depending on battery size and then it starts charging and maintaining

Ive even gone so far as to leaving it connected to a dead battery for a day and it still just sat there in the battery voltage display mode

One was removed from vehicle defective so i tried charging it also

It indicated the battery only reached half capacity and the charger stopped indicating the battery can’t be fully charged and voltage remained low
