Pros & Cons
Pros
Bought for use on an enclosed trailer. Trailer plug seems very well sealed. Mictuning always delivers.
Cons
The pins in the plug are flimsy and bend over if not inline. The color coded wires aren't where they are supposed to be. Cost me about $40 extra, in fuses, and 7 prong plug, plus at least 3 hours to finally figure this out.
The reason for a 2 rating is the plug. Gt; unnecessary work. What a needless waste of time. Also doesn't have a gasket seal around the box and lid.

Competitiveness

Quality is at par with or better than what you get at your local parts store if not better, but it's cheaper and includes a wir... Read More

We are running this up to the engine compartment and then feeding cables up to the camera control box to hopefully make the signals more reliable

As most owners know rv manufactures use the cheapest poor quality parts available and after 5 years my 7pin connector was worn out and wouldnt stay in the tow vehicles socket
