Highlights
Quality
Liked that is sturdy and easy to grip along with a handle that is open enough for fingers with gloves on.
The product’s material seems to be sturdy and should hold up to daily use as well as moderate “rough” outdoor conditions/activity.
The antenna is very hard to pull out and could break or bend, no other emergency radio i have has this problem.
Flashlight had several brightness and it even has a dog whistle.
Price
If you’re thinking about getting an emergency radio at a decent price, with great versatility, you won’t be disappointed in this one!
I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to get value for their bucks.
It was a bit pricey, but i think it will be worth it.
I have some radios in the $15 to $18 price range that can play music off of sd cards.
Shipping
It took a long time to arrive although when ordered it was only to be a few days.
I received notice of its delay but was not given an expected time frame.
Packaging/appearance
Obviously it's best that everything is all in its new packaging not opened.
The first thing i did when i opened the package is tuned the radio to the emergency channel.
Competitiveness
All the other ones i've bought and returned because they were cheap knock off's.
Such as iphone 11 and above you need a5000mah battery or better…tokeyla has a battery size 18650 that will give you 5000mah 3.
I have owned other midland electronics over the years and have found them to be an economical product line.
There may be no way that midland can distinguish between a test and an actual alert, so they may not have a choice.
