Small so it takes up very little space

On weakerdistant stations it will have some interference and increases as you travel away from the station

When you insert the batteries the lcd screen is on even though the radio is off so your batteries are being used up to power the screen which does have the time of day displayed

This radio is best used for being off grid for 2 to 3 days

I would carry 3 spare aa batteries or remove 1 of the batteries while not in use

That being said it does not replace your counter top weather alert radio and it will not receive as well as your car or truck radio on distant stations
