Pros & Cons
Pros
The miersport lanshan2 is an amazing tent. Line and trim is highly reflective at night. The line and rams head style hook are on the cheaper side but for the price it shouldn't be a big deal. If you can afford it, i think an ultralight single wall ten... Read More
Tent is lightweight and takes up a small amount of space in my hiking bag. It fit 2 men sleeping head to foot tight, but with a little elbow room( i'm 6' 1 tall) it's light, incredibly packable, and fairly breathable.
Survived 10 day trek in philmont nm. This does just fine for my frequent weekend and slightly longer multi-day trips. the hikeman 8. Pct is a little heavy.
The miers footprint is a super lightweight waterproof rectangle. The hex shape provides floor under the vestibules of the rain fly. I still pack the footprint as a spare ground tarp or shade/ rain awning. But for me - it's been both waterproof and hol... Read More
Cons
There is less than a square foot where the tent is even close to 3' high inside the tent. The headspace over your face when you are lying down is only about 10 inches.
I contact the company that sells the tent on amazon and they wanted me to prove the tent leaks with pictures. I'm shocked that amazon is allowing this company to post products on their site.
Highlights
Quality
Tent is very lightweight and the material feels like good quality.
With it being lightweight material, naturally i was careful with it to make sure it lasts me a long time.
It didn't collapse even though i went in and out several times, and it stayed super dry inside.
It is lightweight so you do need to be a little more careful handling it and i recommend using a footprint tarp.
Price
I hadn’t heard of this brand before and despite the price being a little higher for a tent i hadn’t heard of, i decided to give it a try.
First off this tent is a good value for the price.
Packaging/appearance
I have no complaints it did it's job and wasnt a burden to pack around

The rain fly covering the vestibule was damp but the vestibule area itself remained dry

The bump out inside opposite the door is large enough to put my pack even with a 25 in wide sleeping pad and it didnt get damp in all of that rain
