Pros & Cons
Pros
The miersport lanshan2 is an amazing tent. Line and trim is highly reflective at night. The line and rams head style hook are on the cheaper side but for the price it shouldn't be a big deal. There are enough included stakes to do a standard pitch, bu... Read More
The miers footprint is a super lightweight waterproof rectangle. The hex shape provides floor under the vestibules of the rain fly. It is lightweight so you do need to be a little more careful handling it and i recommend using a footprint tarp.
With the vestibule it fits two people and two packs comfortably. With the right footprint everything stays clean and dry- as clean as things can be when you are hiking and backcountry camping. I'm 5'6 and had plenty of room in the tent with an inflata... Read More
It packs up about the size of 2 grapefruit, it is extremely light, and once you've practiced it once or twice it takes only a few minutes to set up or takedown and stow. It has nice headroom especially for a backpacking tent.
Took this tent on a 10-day solo backpacking trip. Survived 10 day trek in philmont nm. This does just fine for my frequent weekend and slightly longer multi-day trips. Just spent 4 nights in it in yosemite wilderness.
Cons
One of the two outer side pullout lines wasn't attached at all. The ridge between the poles lacks a catenary cut. I struggled to find the right placement for the guylines, stakes, etc.
There is less than a square foot where the tent is even close to 3' high inside the tent. The headspace over your face when you are lying down is only about 10 inches.
I contact the company that sells the tent on amazon and they wanted me to prove the tent leaks with pictures. I'm shocked that amazon is allowing this company to post products on their site.

Not a fan of the ground stakes it comes with with only a notch on one of the four tines.
Price
This tent is a very good value for such a lightweight shelter.
Bought this knowing i have to seam seal it myself but for the money and weight i can't complain.
I hadn’t heard of this brand before and despite the price being a little higher for a tent i hadn’t heard of, i decided to give it a try.
Shipping
Arrived just in time then off to east texas for a wet enjoyable hike.
Competitiveness
I’ve already replaced most of them with the msr groundhogs strakes at extra expense.
