Pros

Tent is lightweight and takes up a small amount of space in my hiking bag. With the vestibules it fits two people and two packs comfortably. It's lightweight, incredibly packable, and fairly breathable.

The hikeman 8 is super-lightweight, perfect for traverses. It has stood up against heavy downpours, flooded ground and very strong winds. I think it would be great on the at but not sure if it is tough enough for the pct or cdt.

Miersport lanshan2 is an amazing tent. Best bang-for-the-buck backpacking tent out there. Hard to get pitched *perfectly*, but i'm not about to spring for a $650 zpacks.

It is * to sell returned merchandise as new. This entire system is a worthless ripoff. I contact the company that sells the tent on amazon and they wanted me to prove the tent leaks with pictures.

I got the pro 1 person on amazon prime day for under $200 and i must say i am impressed.

I wouldn’t even call this a “budget” option because that implies a sacrifice in quality.

That said, the price: weight ratio is a good value.
