Magnet Strength
Customers are overwhelmingly positive about the strength of MIKEDE Fishing Magnets, with many reporting impressive results in lifting various objects, including anchors and metal beams, both on land and in water. Some customers have noted that the magnets exceed their expectations in terms of pulling force, making them a valuable tool for magnet fishing and cleaning up lake bottoms. However, a few customers have expressed concerns about the magnets' ability to hold 500lbs or 200lbs as stated, but overall they are satisfied with the product's strength and value.

Highlights
Quality
Very well made, excellent size, will hold heavy weights.
This is a very strong magnet, the eye fits in it well and the carabiner creates a nice attachment point.
This magnet is incredibly strong, and there’s no way i’d let a child handle it.
For normal metal items with irregular shapes, the pull off force is way less than 200 pounds.
Price
The $11 price point seems like a very reasonable investment in trying to get my gear back.
For the price the magnet itself is worth it.
Packaging/appearance
The box it comes in is the perfect place to store it, keeping both the magnet and any nearby metal objects safe.
Arrived in perfect shape, and the magnet is quite strong.

Do not get your hands between this magnet and any metal or you’re very likely to get hurt

I attached it to one of the steel beams in my workshop and had to use a crowbar through the eye bolt to remove it

The beam is a 12gauge 214 inch square galvanized metal tube and i was not prepared for just how strong this magnet would be

I dont know about you but i can’t lift 700lbs by myself so if it happens to grab hold of something heavy—like a safe full of gold coins you’re going to need a comealong or winch to help lift it out of the water
