Filling is a bit awkward as it has a small mouth so you cannot see the water approaching the top i have not managed to fill it without it over flowing

I am not sure it is a belt carry canteen but you could do it but it is a pack carry

This canteen does not add much to the overall carry weight when full and although bulky not a complaint when empty is easy to transport

As an added i stupidly dropped it onto a corner when full

Very rarely fill it up as get 2 brews each and plenty left over to slurp from half full
