When the chlorine tabs get tiny i take them out put them in my skimmer and then put 2 more tabs in the fish

I would say you’d be replacing the tabs once a week

To open you have to unscrew the fish from the base

Then screw the top back on which sometimes takes me a few tries to get right maybe it’s just me
