The cable is * and flexible and somehow allows my 2012 mac mini to power graphics on my hp 34f ultrawide curved monitor. Supports 144hz without hassle. Used to test a 4k monitor at 60hz when connected to the tb2 port on a 2014 apple mbp.

Competitiveness
I got this product to sync my macbook air to my 144hz monitor and it works much better than my hdmi thunderbolt adapter.
Even apple's specs say this shouldn't be possible.

I don’t love the displayport standard but sometimes you gotta use it and this cable delivers

I thought a cable was a cable but the purchase of this was a surprise in that i didnt know what i needed until i ordered this cable
