Being 3m in length my wife can also use this with our projector via our soundbar and still have control over her laptop without blocking out the screen in any way

The best part is the flexibility to bend the wire near its neck this was one of the reasons the previous product broke

It may be due to the older monitor or the monitor is 24 inch much bigger than the native 14 inch laptop screen periodically there is a line across the monitor screen as before
