The cord seems to be too slow or have too much latency to connect properly. The monitor simply flashes for a few seconds before dying off.

This cable was just the correct length, the braided exterior felt very solid.
Plugged in my nikon d3500 and produced sharp 1080p and 720p with no issues.
I cannot recommend this for cameras they do not fit the hdmi slot.

For the proper cable you need the word thin micro hdmi cable

I dont know if anything can be done but the hdmi mini side isnt strong

I havent tried running it the opposite way hdmi to mini hdmi so cant comment on the bidirectional function
