Pros
This one solves all that. Fiddly to install. Super easy to set up. Control of scenes & schedules is limitless.
Smart plugs make it easy to turn on & off appliances. I have a under cabinet led light strip plugged in to each of the 2 smart plugs in my kitchen and use a philips hue dimmer switch to control them individually.

Quality
No problem in setting up much easier than the last model and does not block the plug socket good quality product would buy again
Seemingly good quality, compact plugs that easily integrate with apple home kit.
For the price, i think they are very good.
Packaging/appearance
After setting up, the phone can go back on the 5ghz.
These are easy to install onto homekit and there’s no need to log into the meross app to use it.
I found the meross smart plugs on amazon and being a twin pack caught my eye.
Competitiveness
Will definitely buy more of these and other meross products.
This new mini version is much easier to set up, especially with homekit, definite winner
4ghz wifi that the plugs will be using, it won't detect them if on a 5ghz on the same lan.
The cheapest option to get a homekit compatible plug.
