Cons

New one feels cheap and tacky, like something you can get in the dollar store. The black one was dented. I'm lowkey disappointed and kind of regret putting stickers on it to decorate it when it's falling apart.

The journal is not stitched/binded well. They use 7mm line spacing and i just refuse to buy it. Inconsistent quality and perhaps insufficient management of their suppliers.

It’s like a regular printer paper and not thick enough for a ballpoint pen. Whether it is regular pens or thin fine liners, the ink shows through, sometimes even ghosting onto the other page.

But i can't complain about the quality of this journal.

They also don’t feel to be as good quality as they were before either.

Flipping through the pages, i am not seeing the issue others are having with the dots lining up across the page spread.

Competitiveness

Way better suited for me compared to established brands.

Honestly at this price point, its a great buy.

I was getting tired of looking for a high-quality writing notebook that was not ridiculously overpriced.

I wanted a notebook that was not too heavy, as i found the ones with 160gsm paperweight were.
