Cons

New one feels cheap and tacky, like something you can get in the dollar store. Black one was dented. I'm not even halfway done filling it. The one i just received is glittery and looks tacky.

The quality all around is much less than moleskin. It’s like a regular printer paper and not thick enough for a ballpoint pen.

This notebook is a great value for the quality of the paper.

They also don’t feel to be as good quality as they were before either.

Flipping through the pages, i am not seeing the issue others are having with the dots lining up across the page spread.

Packaging/appearance

I used to use moleskine journals, but i also use fountain pens, and the ink would bleed through the page.

Competitiveness

Way better suited for me compared to established brands.

Honestly at this price point, its a great buy.

I was getting tired of looking for a high-quality writing notebook that was not ridiculously overpriced.

I wanted a notebook that was not too heavy, as i found the ones with 160gsm paperweight were.
