Pros

The leuchtturm1917 pages are ideal for thoughts and scribbles. They are thicker making it easy to use sharpies and other heavily inked pens/markers. The amber color is more gold than i anticipated.

I love the yellow color (its a nice mustard/marigold shade) and the size and sturdiness is perfect. The perfect size to carry around without being too burdensome.

The dotted journal is one thing i will never go back on, it’s totally a game changer for writing and drawing! Both are case-bound hardback dot journals with elastic bands and sturdy receipt envelopes on the inside back cover.

There are a few differences between the two, but none are dealbreakers for me. The mart is about half an inch narrower than the l1917. The paper is slightly thicker and rougher.

Cons

This product is not the same color as described. In the picture it looks like a golden yellow that leans almost orange in tone. There is so much bleed through and ghosting on the opposite page.

The pages are of really great quality, there's minimal bleed-through.

But since i buy it every year i was bummed when it was lined up with the others and it didn’t match.

Price

I was curious to get a notebook with dotted lines and for the price i chose this one.

Competitiveness

My first journal was a leuchtturm 1917 and it was nice but so pricey.

I usually go with leuchtturm1917 dotted but this almost just ax good!

I purchased this notebook after being a long time fan of leuchtturm notebooks.

I was looking for a cheaper alternative to my favorite leuchtturm notebook, since i go through them pretty quickly at work.
