Pros & Cons
Pros
Sturdy and very well made. Well constructed. It all honestly goes with the style you most enjoy.
Minimalist art notebooks are the most durable notebooks i've ever used. The cover is sturdy, and while very pleather it is soft and pleasing to the touch. Paper color is great is white almost cream white, hard cover is not as hard as i wish (like othe... Read More
The colors are vivid. The pages are think, so no ghosting.
Cons
The journal is not stitched/binded well. Inconsistent quality and perhaps insufficient management of their suppliers. There are many bullet journals to choose from, which makes it even harder for consumers to buy the right one. The only good thing is ... Read More
The paper is so thin you can see pencil marks through three pages. Major ghosting from pens and mild liners. Ink can bleed through the pages, it does when i use my muji pens.
The pages are thick but fall victim to eraser crunching easily. The first 12 pages of this notebook are blank; the page numbering and dotted pages begin only on page 13.
Highlights
Quality
I use them for my yearly bullet journals and i’ve been happy with the price and durability of these journals.
Even with the stabilo boss highlighers (quite inky but also a great product) they do no bleed through.
The pages are of really great quality, there's minimal bleed-through.
But since i buy it every year i was bummed when it was lined up with the others and it didn’t match.
Packaging/appearance
I used to use moleskine journals, but i also use fountain pens, and the ink would bleed through the page.
Competitiveness
My first journal was a leuchtturm 1917 and it was nice but so pricey.
Way better suited for me compared to established brands.
I was getting tired of looking for a high-quality writing notebook that was not ridiculously overpriced.
