The first and last pages are black card stock the rest of the pages are the dot grid

There is one black bookmark strand it sticks out about 3 from the bottom when placed

The pages are more of a creamy or ivory white not true white

Two things that might make a difference for you but didnt for me the black card stock has been glued to the first dot grid page so theres like a quarter of an inch seam running down the first and last pages where they glued them together

The other issue is with the dots on the page if you look closely at the product pictures provided by amazon you can see that the dots dont go all the way to the edge of the page

The mas pages might be a smidge whiter
